Prof. Dr.sc Makedonka Stojanovska graduated at the Faculty of Forestry in Skopje in 1989. She obtained MSc degree in Forestry Sciences in 1998 at the Faculty of Forestry in Skopje, defending her thesis: “Working conditions and intensity of work and their impact on health and work ability of workers in the forestry sector in the Republic of Macedonia”. In 2006 she was awarded PhD degree in Forestry sciences at the Faculty of Forestry in Skopje for her thesis entitled: „Working conditions and their impact on the labor situation and optimal employment in the forestry sector in the Republic of Macedonia”.

In 1990 she was employed as teaching assistant of “Organization of forest production”. After her MSc graduation in 2002, she was elected as assistant, and after her PhD graduation in 2006 she was promoted to assistant professor. In 2011 she was awarded the title of associate professor and she became full professor in 2016. Since the beginning of 2017 she is Vice Dean at the Hans Em Faculty of Forest Sciences, Landscape Architecture and Environmental Engineering in Skopje.

Today, аs a full professor, she is responsible for lecturing the following subjects: “Management of enterprises”; “Enterprise economics”; “Forest-environmental policy”; “Ergonomics”; “Marketing and prices”; “Protected areas management” and “Recreational-touristic aspects of green areas” (undergraduate studies) and “Environmental economics”; “Market and trade with forest products”; “Forest-environmental policy”; “Enterprise management”; “Innovations and entrepreneurship in forest and environmental sector” (on the postgraduate level of studies).
